In high school I was involved in numerous different activities. I was accepted into the
National Honor Society when I was a sophomore and I was able to withhold this all throughout high school. In order to be accepted you had to show strong academic drive, leadership skills, and community service activities. In my time on the National Honor Society I participated in many different activities. One of my favorite activities was the Christmas party we planned for the head start children. We raised money to buy them all presents and did arts and crafts projects with them. We even got a student to dress up as Santa Clause for the children to meet.
During the semester I had a class called speech and communications. One of the speeches we had to create was a passion speech. For my passion I chose teaching children. Below is the power point presentation from my speech for you to see.
One last assignment I would like to share is a paper I wrote in my college reading class. We had to make a
self-portfolio to help describe ourselves in a better way.
